This is a great project from Coke Wisdom O’Neal (How do you get a name like that? Sign me up.)
He built a huge box in a small Texas town and photographed the townspeople in it, creating images in which the people look like they might be Tchotzkes in someone’s living room display.
There is a nice video of the shoot on You Tube if you have a couple minutes to watch. And here is a link to the Mixed Greens Gallery in New York, which has the exhibition from April 23-May 23 if you’re near NYC during that time.
