Joe Torsella for Philadelphia Magazine

I photographed U.S. Senate candidate Joe Torsella for this month’s Philadelphia Magazine. Joe was a very gracious subject. We bonded over his Catholic heritage and my marriage into Catholic heritage. He even told me a good joke about a priest, but, alas, this is a family-friendly blog and, thus, we won’t go there.

Poor Joe, though. You might have heard of Arlen Specter’s recent (politically expedient) switch to the Dems. This throws a monkey-wrench in Torsella’s formerly uncontested bid for the Democratic nomination here in Pa.

IMHO, I’m not a fan of Specter’s recent switch. It stinks like yesterday’s fish. So I say: You go, Joe! Besides, how can you not like a guy who was such great fodder for Colbert. This video should get him elected by default.
