Architectural Record

I finally got my hands on a copy of the April issue of Architectural Record magazine. They gave nice play to a portrait that I made of a group of students at the Charter High School for Architecture and Design (CHAD) here in Philadelphia. I got to sit in a few classes at this great school. Students get to take drawing, design and architecture classes integrated with their traditional liberal arts classes. I can’t remember the last time I saw so many motivated students. It was great to see.

Thanks to art director Kris Rabasca for such great play. He told me that AR rarely commissions photos of humans, so it was a particular honor to be chosen for this assignment. And thanks to CHAD Executive Director Courtney Tyus and all the staff and students at CHAD for putting up with all our lighting gear and musical rooms game.
